County Captains & Presidents Day

A County Presidents and Captains was held at Thetford Golf Club on September 10th 2008 to raise funds.

It was a great success enjoyed by all raising over £2000.  See all the days happenings in the files below:

What a successful day for Norfolk at the East Anglian Championships yesterday.  18 Aug 08
 
Held at John O'Gaunt (on the John O'Gaunt course) the 36 hole competition was really close after the morning round.  However in the afternoon the girls really did well and the final results were as follows:

 

Championship - Tracy Williamson - 76/77 - total 153

Runner-Up -        Rebecca Heeles - 77/80 - total 157 (on countback)

3rd place -          Laura Collins (Beds - John O'Gaunt) - 74/83 - total 157

4th place -           Katie Burman (Beds - John O'Gaunt) - 76/84   -total 160

Norfolk won the Team Shield (Tracey, Rebecca and Amy)

Three out of four scores to count Amy Skoulding had a good afternoon round of 79 to give her a total of 164 and make up the team score of 474 beating Bedfordshire into second place. 

Emma was the fourth member of the team but had to retire ill in the morning round so the triumph was extra well done because all three remaining players scores had to count!

SSS 73 (CSS AM -74 PM - 76).

Charlotte Presland also represented Norfolk at the event.
